Unidentified warplanes launch airstrikes against Iranian-backed militias on the Iraq–Syria border, including near the Al-Qa’im border crossing, reportedly killing at least 25 people. Fuel tankers carrying Iranian gasoline to Lebanon are also hit. DRC Air Force Sukhoi Su-25 jets bomb areas held by M23 rebels in North Kivu, including the recently captured town of Bunagana. At least one of the jets violated Rwandan airspace, although Kinshasa says that the incident was a mistake and was not intentional. (France 24)
